What makes Tradesville different from other relatable programs?

There are no other children’s programs that include multiple trades working together; emphasising the importance of mental health and renewable energy.

As an Electrician I see a lot of what building site life is like. The pros, the cons, and the dilemmas. I have had the idea of Tradesville in mind for a few years now, so I have been researching all the elements of different trades and what they have to do in their day-to-day life. Furthermore, my friends are all in different trades which means I can find out information through them.

With all this knowledge I carefully incorporate these real-life incidents into the storyline by making them child-friendly. I have made sure I keep hold of my target audience (children) by keeping it simple and fun.  I have done this by creating characters with easy to pronounce alliterate names for e.g Pippa The Plumber and Eddy The Electrician.

I have also kept it realistic so that parents (especially trade parents) can watch it with their children. Additionally incorporating (PG) innuendos throughout will keep it appealing to multiple ages.

To help the Trades, they also have little interactive characters such as Callum Cable who works alongside Eddy to pass the electric cable and help complete Eddy’s tasks. Children love to see bad guys in stories as well which is why Tradesville has Barry the Bodger. Barry is a character who likes to make life hard for the trades by doing …bodge jobs.

Why you should invest in Tradesville?

Myself and the Tradesville Team are genuinely excited about the potential it has to offer. Having Tradesville broadcasted will open up numerous avenues such as merchandise, apps/computer games, and educational materials to name a few

Designing the characters in the way we have enables massive potential from a merchandising perspective. The Tradesville Team section outlines this concept further.  Whilst profit is one of the leading factors in business, the smile/laughter of a child is equally as satisfying. Tradesville provides the opportunity, not only to educate, but also help support less privileged children with visits from the characters and support from the proceeds of Tradesville.

We are doing this because we are building a better future. Join us and….
